'Ulī'ulī, Hula Supplies, Workshops
OUR STORY
A Love for Hawaiian Arts
The story of Kaila Hula Supply began in 1992 when Gayle, aka Kaila, began growing ipu on her family's farm in Kula. She began making ipu and 'ulī'ulī before learning to make all the different hula instruments and teaching various workshops. As a farmer, crafter, weaver of lauhala and 'ie'ie, each piece is made with aloha.
